Bowling

NJ Hawks Bowling is comprised of about 25 bowlers ranging in ages from 8 years of age and up with varying degrees of ability. All bowlers meet on Saturday mornings from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Brunswick Zone Carolier Lanes 790 Route 1, New Brunswick, NJ. 08902

All athletes bowl 3 games on Saturday's and can determine whether they participate in special olympics bowling competition. There scores are used for placement in the divisional tournament. The bowling season usually begins in early November and runs through the end of March when SONJ holds their Spring Sports Festival.

Tournament locations vary from year to year and are announced by SONJ sometime during the bowling season.

There is a fee to bowl each week at Brunswick Zone for the 3 games and shoe rental. If your athlete decides to participate in the special olympic competition with the New Jersey Hawks bowling team, athletes are required to purchase a team bowling shirt.
